CGRA is now accepting bids for the following position:

CGRA Managing Director

(Please include a copy of your recent resume for the following job posting)


Duties include

* take entries (via telephone and e-mail) for CGRA approved rodeos

* sort, draw, and create judges’ sheets, reconciliation sheets, programs and invoices for all CGRA approved rodeos

* collect medical and vet releases from those affected in timelines as set

* review results, determine winners and calculate payout

* process cheques for winners and mail them out

* assign fines and/or collect outstanding fees

* receives and deposits entry fees, CEO fees and gate money from Rodeo Committees

* create balance sheet from each rodeo and send to CGRA Treasurer

* sends copy of balance sheet and appropriate funds to Rodeo Committee & CGRA Treasurer

* send listing of cheques from payout to CGRA Treasurer

* send results to CGRA website

* works with Rodeo Committees and CGRA Treasurer

* keeps track of standings and has same posted on CGRA website and to Rodeo Connection

* creates Horse of Year results book, and submits to Finals Committee

* Ongoing liaison with Treasurer regarding Trust Account for deposits, cheques written, etc.

* follows and enforces CGRA rules as set forth

* attends monthly CGRA meetings as scheduled

* this a paid position; rate determined by applicants bid

* other duties as necessary

* Two year term

#1 – Finals Director –  Finals will be hosted in Taber, Alberta in 2018  – 2 year term
#2 – Public Relations Directors – Responsible for website management, online entry and advertising for CGRA – 1 year term

Bingo News

Well March 1st has come and gone and so if you did not get signed up or only signed up for one bingo, you will now be required to still sign up and work your total of 3 bingos.  Only a few dates left with availability so check out Bingo Tab and get your dates booked before there are no more spots available for existing members.
