Important Running Rule changes for 2023 Rodoes

Parents must sign a waiver for any contestant under 18 in youth and open events to compete without a helmet. Waivers will be available at the rodeo office when you pay your fees. only need to sign one a year per contestant.

Little Cowgirls must wear a CSA approved riding helmet when riding and competing at CGRA Rodeos.

Flags in breakaway roping must be 6x6 in size. and 3 knots must be used to tie the rope to saddle horn
-
Cow Riders: If a contestants helmet touches any part of the cow, the rider will be disqualified.
For 67 years, the CGRA has proudly promoted women in the sport of rodeo
and provided them a place to showcase their talent in multiple events.
From Little Cowgirls and Juniors to Open competitors, there are events for all ages to compete in! Events include Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Team Roping, Tie Down Roping, Steer Undecorating and Cow Riding!!!
